yeah...we shop at JoAnnes. SO WHAT

haha nothing like two guys wondering around the fabric section at JoAnnes on a saturday afternoon.
We convinced Jess to come with us to make it seem like we fit in, but it was no use. We were in the market for some good ol plaid flannel!! An believe me, we found it!
Time for the red head to go back to its roots!

Preston found a set of rims on KSL from a civic SI. We called the dude, and found he was in rose park.
We also found that he had spray painted them...
So we asked him to meet us half way, and picked them. We were under the impression we were just going to get them powdercoated, but we honestly didnt have them long at all lol

Time for some goodies

Its now time that Preston an I start really thinking about dumping some time and dough into the civic.
We just received a package with Prestons brand new Skunk2 coilovers. Very sexy coil if you ask me.
They are going to match TRHSC perfectly.

Looking fresh!

the last goodbye

Took the subaru out one last time with the lude. This was probably the last pic of them together before it got sold. Still miss that car alot.
Stay tuned. This only the beginning still....

Finally Finished. Whats Next?

The headlights are finally complete! It only took us about 3-4 weeks to finish both of them (only cuz were too lazy some days).
They couldnt have turned out any better..

Here is a snap of the finished piece.

OnToSeeTheNight...eventually

Preston started looking into retro fit kits for the civic on TheRetrofitSource.com
He priced everything out, found all the ballasts, shrouds and wire kits for it to work on the civic. So onward we pressed to find some new headlight housings for the lowest price possible. We found a set on Ebay for under 100 bucks, and ordered them up. This is the point of the summer where we had boxes coming every other day...our Christmas in July!
This is a pic of the retro fit in the process of fitting the shroud to the projector bulb. There was definitely a learning curve to this process.

This set of wires ended up being a bit of a problem for us, as the connector wasnt build to plug into the receiver, so we had to call up theretrofitsource and place an order for an adapter.
Fun times...
